Our Story
Houston Live Productions started with a Canon 5D, a borrowed shotgun mic, and one rule: show up early, leave late, bring back the shot. Years later the gear cases are heavier, the team is bigger, and the rule still holds.
We're a fully crewed independent production team based in Houston, working with couples and clients from Galveston to Reykjavík. Houston is one of the most cinematic cities in America — and we're building an archive to prove it, one wedding and one event at a time.
Every film we make is the work of a small group of obsessed people. Directors, DPs, editors, colorists, and producers who care, very personally, whether the cut works.

Ask us anythingMost couples book us 6–12 months out, but we'll always check our calendar for shorter notice. Some couples even book up to 2 years in advance for popular dates — Saturdays in spring and fall fill earliest, so reach out as soon as you have a date.
Highlight films deliver in 6–10 weeks. Full documentary edits in 10–14 weeks. Same-Day Edits (if added) deliver the night of the wedding for the reception.
Turnaround can vary depending on our current workload — we handle every project in the order we receive them in. We try to put projects out as early as we can, sometimes as early as two weeks.
Yes — we travel anywhere. We cover Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio free of charge. Anything farther is subject to travel fees, which we always bill at cost — never marked up.
Absolutely — every package can be extended, combined, or tailored. The pricing tiers are starting points; the à la carte menu lets you add hours, edits, drone, audio, and more.
Yes — and bundling saves you 10% off the combined price at every tier. Our Photo + Video Bundles range from $1,798 (Silver) to $5,398 (Signature) and include the full crew, gallery, and films. See the Bundles section.
Standard terms: 30% retainer to book the date, 40% one month before the wedding, balance due on delivery. We accept ACH, card, Zelle, and Venmo. Payment plans available on request.
You do. We license back the right to show the work in our portfolio and reel. If you'd prefer the work stay private, we'll never publish it — just say the word in your brief.
No — we also produce commercials, music videos, real estate films, corporate videos, and event coverage (quinceañeras, sweet 16s, gender reveals, birthdays, and more). Mention what you have in mind on the contact form.
